Personal branding focuses on the systematic planning and implementation of deliberate communication messages through the most suitable media and tactics to the designated audience(s) at the appropriate time — with the goal of contributing to and achieving desired long-term objectives for a personal brand. This course will explore many aspects of personal branding, including identifying various perspectives of personal branding, creating your own personal brand, formulating brand partnerships, handling challenges, ethical considerations, and strategic planning, among other topics. Content includes strategic elements (planning, strategy, etc.), content creation (visuals, video, and more), writing (brand voice and tone), and digital and social media elements to showcase elements that are to help you build a successful personal brand.
